Panasonic GD88: can't see who the SMS sender is!

anyone else have this problem with the GD88? when someone sends a SMS, sometimes their number is blocked. I noticed that if it is someone who uses a different service provider than me it doensn't show their number. But if it's Fido (like mine) or sending from over seas it shows it.
Anyone know how to fix this problem?

seems like the same problem occurs with the X70 model too.
Does nobody know how to fix this?
