well ive done it. you all told me i need to buy a cable to get real audio ringtones and you're all wrong. if any one is interested in how i did it just pm me

Do you need Web enabled phone? I have not signed up for the WEB so I guess I am SOL right?

I'm guessing he did it by e-mail. Sign up at VZWPIX.com, send your phone a "picture e-mail" containing one or more short .mid or (.mp3?) files and use "Save Media" to add them to your Media Gallery. Then under Settings/Sounds/Ringers you can scroll left/right to get to the "Downloads" list where it shows the audio files in your Media Gallery.

u dont need the web. u have to convert a mp3 to a wav then wav to pmd using cmx studio. change the extension to mid and send it via verizon website and thats all im a genious
