Security Failure

I recently unlocked my GU-87 phone. I tested it with t-mobile sim card and it shows me the signal and I can dial 611 and get to customer service.
I tried an AT&T sim card and it gives me "security failure" message. I also tried another AT&T card and it work.
My only concern is it possible that the phone might be blacklisted since I got security failure message on one of the cards or is it because the card is no longer active.

your sim card may no longer be active. if the sim is really old, try to get a new one. otherwise, i dunno.

however, sim card is most likely the case

its the sim. i got a bar and the phone company sent a sim update that invalidated it. it then said Security Failure. its back on now tho
