Faceplate question for the 8260...

Can only faceplates made for the 8260 fit on them, or will 8210 or 8290 faceplates fit also?

the 8290 has the express on covers and the 8260 is bolted down

I was hoping there was a way I can mod an 8290 cover to fit my 8260.
