Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I have noticed the last several times I powered the phone off, I get a blank white screen that does not go. I can not power the phone back on either. I have to remove the battery before the white screen goes away and be able to power back on.

Thanks

I had this happen to me once but there have been numerous posts about it.

Some think it has to do with whatever program might be running when you go to power off. Some have used a task manager to quit running programs before powering off.

Thanks LarryH.

I get that problem if the clam shell is closed before I press the power button. If I wait until after it shutsdown before closing it, no problem.

Letting it shut down completely before closing it worked!

Thanks for input guys.

That's not working for me--the white screen is gone but my keypad stays lit--I can press the buttons and I hear the clicking, but it will not power down--didn't have this problem until I did a hard reset--any thoughts?
