How to run J2ME apps? (jar files)

Has anyone figured out how to run Java apps via the JVM (jeodek) that is on the MPx220? Clicking on the jar or jad files from File Manager does nothing. I have found that jad files downloaded via Pocket IE get setup by the JVM. But I would like to be able to just click on jar files that I copied over via Active Sync.
