well, if you bring in a phone to a bell store, there will probably be a $15 charge to do the switch for you...if you purchase the phone there, there won't be...maybe that is a little more clear.

How about not prepaid...like if I bought that phone and called CS and had then tell me how to program it and change over the ESN...

They won't do it, unless the esn was previously on your account.

I just picked one of these up. The phone has a "Activation Lock" on it so it does have to be activated on a NEW prepaid or postpaid plan. Cant just change it over to another account and use the prepaid starter kit seperatly. Oh Well. I guess it might make a good christmas gift or something.
