N-Gage alarm clock stinks!

bah after coming from the v60i, i'm missing the customizable alarm clock ringing tone function

is there a program that allows you to change the default one on the n-gage because it sounds really bad and isn't loud enough to wake me up

i'd prefer waking up to the sounds of an mp3 or something else besides that bland ringtone equipped on the n-gage

and yes, i already have a real alarm clock but i also want to use the n-gage as another alarm clock

Think the N-Gage alarm is bad, try the alarm on a series 40 device. Now those can't wake anything up, while it's a bit customizable, it's very quiet.

maybe u can do a comparison?

well ngage should not be too soft..since the speaker is the loudest so far on s60 phones

Yup same here, I wake up pretty easily with the N-Gage since it's so persistent by going off every 5 minutes

Lol just set the alarm as always and then when it goes off, ignore it and don't touch it. The alarm will go off every 5 minutes until you shut it off manually.

I thought this was the standard function, it's never been a secret to me

it would be nicer if the alrm clock was more customizeable... like recurrent alarms, different tones...

psiloc has one i think...but according to ppl it doesnt work well =P

yeah Psiloc's profile program sucks

in that program you can only play .MID's for ur alarm clock

Smart profiles works well -- alows you to change both the clock and calendar alarms to whatever tone / tune you want.

try Psiloc WorldClock Pro
it lets you customize sounds used for alarms and it's very easy to use.

I don't like Psiloc apps. They tend to give me the WSOD.

u couldnt be more rite...and after u uninstall their apps they tend to leave stuff on your phone

the most annoying problem is you can't set concurring alarm (Mon-Fri at 0600)
SE T637 can set up like this, sorry, nokia can't

delete the stuff yourself...or try appman...
