SX56 connection to AT&T

Connection to AT&T varies (I am in San Francisco)
1 - Phone connection fails. At times people calling me get sent to voice mail even though my connection icon shows good signal. I need to reboot to re-establish a connection. This is hard for me to know about in advance.
2 - GPRS connection is very unreliable. The G icon disappears and it can take many reboots to get it back. Not what I need when trying to access the web or email.

What OS and Radio Stack version are you using?

Odds are, updating your phone to the latest version will solve your problems.

I'm using Win CE 2002.

Where do I find out which Radio Stack I'm using?

Hello.

Without a doubt, if you're running the 2002 software, you NEED to carefully upgrade to 2003.

That will solve all of your problems, and give you lots of new features as well.

Be VERY careful when upgrading to 2003. Follow the instructions to the letter. Otherwise, you could end up 'killing' your phone. That's not meant to scare you. Just being honest.

It's very much worth the trouble for you to upgrade. Your phone will be BETTER than new!

Go to www.xda-developers.com to research your options, because AT&T no longer has the update software on their web site. If you have any trouble, let me know.
