Hey people,

Check out what my loser friend did to my phone, it was in his lap and when he got out of the car it fell and got !@#$ up.

Does anyone have experience or know of repair estimates for this type of damage? My friend has to pay for it. Check out the pics.

Also does anyone know if the 5150 will work with telus? Anyone selling one?

All I can say is damn...Do you have insurance on it??? I dropped mine too and I took it to Best buy and they replaced it( I said the phone was dropping calls or something)...Your friend might come out cheaper getting you another phone off ebay or something

that looks like someone took the phone and scraped it back and forth against the asphalt. Or used to sandpaper on it!!

Skiboard, tech me how! Is this sure fire method?
WIll they say that it was cause of the physical damage that caused the phone to malfunction internally? I still have that 1 year baby!

I don't think there is much you can do to "repair" that sort of damage. Your best bet would be to get it replaced or buy a new one.

I don't believe that TELUS ever offered the 5150, or that they plan to. Unfortunately for you Canadian neighbors of ours...

hey.... i m sure that it's 200 CAD charge to repair this kind of damage...

My 5OOO has a little crack on the exterior LCD.... it may cost a cent of that little piece... but .... they told me that it cost 200 to fix it.... "DIU LA MA"

you need a tri-wing screwdriver and a new cover. you can get the screwdriver from www.jensentools.com for $9. Then check around local store to see if they have any "junk" 5000/5150's that they will swap faces with.

Or you can sand it and paint it. I wouldn't go the insurance route. Trust me on that one.
