If i upgrade the firmware version, will the unlock be destroyed?

Seeing as the phone used to be locked?

So if i want it to remain simlock-free ill need a special firmware version? either that or unlock it again?

Posted by: angel_wing0

generic..as in pure nokia firmware as oppose to provider (fido, cingular, att, etc) firmware

Posted by: Tetsuo55

one question remains.

so nokia generic is simlock free

Provider specific firmware has the simlock?
