No more Audiovox cdm 9900?

Does anyone know why Verizon does not offer more Audiovox cdm 9900s. Is there something wrong with the phone or will they be offering more later? Special price or otherwise?

you MUST order it from verizon direct. They only have a few thousand left

I went to 2 indepentent dealers this afternoon. The first had 12 9900's and the second had over 10 in the case. Called the Verizon store and they said they have plenty of them on site.

You can still get them from the stores.

Funny scenerio, to ue the NE2 on VZW I had to change my Shopping from zipcode to a PA zip for the 9900 to show up as an available phone in the upgrade list. If I used a MD Zip, the 9900 was gone from teh list. So I ordered 2 9900s using shop from PA zip.

Hope they ship.

sidenote, my cell numbers are MD numbers, used to live there, still keep the MD #'s since family in MD can call from landlines and not be calling long distance. I live in PA though. VZW account was still addressed at MD. Was afraid of changing that in fear of losing my MD cell numbers.
