I've been trying to download a new wallpaper (from my computer) and I keep getting "Insufficient memory" every time I try to view it. I've followed the instruction of the walk-thru ( http://sites.rapidus.net/jelefebv/ ) Only thing I've noticed is that when I upload the image (as body) the file is still listed as body.jpg Am I missing somrthing?

Figured it out, just wasn't really changing the file name (droping the extention). Its all good now.....

i had major issues with this one too.

i just figured out how to drop the file extension. i still don't know if that was the problem, but here goes.

All you need to do to drop the file extension is:

-open windows explorer
-go to the "tools" menu and select "folder options".
-select the "view" tab
-there should be a ladder/tree thingy.
-the fourth _checkbox_ says "hide file extensions for known file types"
-uncheck that box
-in windows explorer, that file should now show up as "body.jpg" or "body.gif" etc.
-right click on the "body.jpg" file
-select "rename"
-rename the file "body"
-make sure it is only "body" (without the "s) and not "body.jpg"
-an error message should appear saying something like "if you change the extension, the file may be rendered unusable. are you sure you want to do this?"
-click "yes"
-put the new "body" file on your phone
-put the .desc file in the same directory
-restart your phone and Voila! instant awesomeness!

*yes! i just finished and it worked. i now have a Slipknot background. Booyeah!

yeah, slipknot is awesome. It's too bad none of the ringtones i could find sound anything like their songs... i gues you just can't put Corey's voice on "Polyphonic" eh?

I also have a cool KoRn background with Jon and the band under a KoRn sign... black, white and grey. pretty cool, BUT...

It shows up on my phone when i look in wallpapers and "view", but when i try to set it to my background, it says "error - set image to wallpaper fail"

wtf? oh well. i'ma go find me some KoRn ringtones.
