Audiovox 5600 and betaplayer conflict

I just found a pretty annoying bug when using betaplayer on the Audiovox 5600... Sorry if this repeats something that everybody knows about.

It seems as though when you customize the hotkeys in betaplayer (e.g. reassign buttons to "play" "stop" etc.) and use the red hangup key for whatever function in betaplayer, it appears to disable this button when you're using this phone normally! I was really confused yesterday, for some reason I just could not hang up a call using the hangup key, and I figured out later that it was Betaplayer. Betaplayer doesn't even have to remain running, it permanently disables the key even if you close the program in task manager. Power cycling the phone brings it back until betaplayer is run again.

Strangely, the hangup key still allows you to lock the phone before you put it in your pocket, but you just can't end a call or "go back" in menus with this button when betaplayer interferes. Avoiding the use of hangup as a betaplayer hotkey avoids this problem.

I wonder if reassigning the hangup key in other programs (such as WMP10) does the same thing...

I don't know if this makes the difference, but on the main site for Betaplayer, there is a message stating that it has a problem with machines containing Windows Media Player 10. And since the SMT5600 comes with WM10 pre-installed, that might explain the issues you are having.
