V400 Problem.....(help)

Ok, the other day I went into Phone Tools to add some ringers (the v600 OEM one which someone emailed me), and everything was fine. After that though, I went back into MPT and tried to look in my audio folder, and an error message kept popping up saying something about 'field doesnt allow whitespace'. I went into P2K to delete the ones I added, and after that it'd let me get into the audio folder again. But now when on my phone I go to change the ringer, after going to 'Ring Styles' on the next screen when you're supposed to go down to 'Detail' and hit 'Change' to take you to your list of ringtones, it instead takes me back to the previous menu screen. So basically, it wont let me into the screen to change my ringtones. Thats one problem.

Also, now when I'm adding more ringtones through phonetools, every one I add is showing up in the ringer list on my phone about 5 times.

Anybody experience either of these problems before?

I did the exact same thing. Used P2K to delete the ringtones I didn't want, and about a week after I did that it wouldn't let me get into the ring style details. I noticed a couple of other people have had this problem. On my phone, when someone called, there was so ringtone, but i could go in and listen to the ringtones. I ended up flex and flashing to the v600, and it fixed this problem. But I'm scared to delete any of the ringtones that are locked on the phone right now cause I don't want it doing it again.

A guy on another board helped me with this. I think the problem may have been deleting a ringtone that was currently set to be in use. Also, he said sometimes problems arise with the ringtone database files (temptone.db and mytone.db), so deleting those and then restarting your phone (which will then re-create these files), may fix the problem. On top of this, my gain_table.bin file also somehow got deleted so no sound whatsoever was coming out of my phone, which I finally got fixed today.
