when my girlfriend got her samsung e700 it was branded. so, we decided to put a hacked and modded firmware onto it. worked great, looks better than great.

now owning a nokia 6230 i thought like "hey, there must be some geeks around having hacked and modded the firmware, lets see".
but it is impossible to find ANY real modding for nokia! why?!?!
help, please! i want my mobile to be as stylish as my girlfriends!

With Nokias, it's more difficult, you need to have a flasher and the software for it. As far as I know, it's not easy to get a hold on such equipment since only authorized Nokia service centers can modify the phones.

A firmware upgrade done on your own and gone bad also risks your phone's warranty so it's best to leave that be. If you want to make your phone more stylish, then consider an outside upgrade such as a cool faceplate or unusual ringtones.
