Please help me buy my first cell phone

Alright, here's the deal-I'm 14, and basically all the kids at my high school have a cell phone. I think my Mom and Dad are finally going to let me get one, but I need some help choosing the right one. Here's what I want from my phone:
-I would prefer a flip phone, I like having the screen protected.
-I want something relatively new(coming out in the last 4-5 months).
-I want something with a lot of cool features, like games, ringtones, camera, text messaging, and a web browser.
-Good speaker quality.
-Hopefully not too steep a price.
Now, I've been eyeing the Motorola V600 for a while, but it seems to get mixed reviews. Motorola seems to have come out with some more V series phones, but I hear the V600 has the most features. Are there any better V series phones with the same or more features that came out fairly recently? Also, with the info I have given, can anyone recommend any different cell phones? Any new ones coming out I may want to wait for? Thanks for any help I receive, I will really appreciate it. I need a cell phone!!!

I have read some info on the Moto V551 and it sounds pretty awesome. The only thing I'm worried about is, I've heard it only comes with one game, is it fairly easy and user friendly to download more? I know I'm sort of nitpicky, but I'm only 14, games are important to me? Also, can anyone explain EDGE to me? Is it a better web browser, or what? Finally, does anyone know some good online sites that offer this phone for a cheap price? Thanks.

hey you're only a year older than me.lol.i hav a v400.its real similar to a v551.the v400 has a lost of problems but the v551 fixes them.games are very easy to download.so are ringtowns.cingular has good coverage.edge is like broadband for a phone.its faster than regular gprs(what gsm phones have).the camera quality of the v400 isnt that great but ive heard that the v551 fixes that too.it has a good external speaker for me at least.has ok phone speaker.was ok until i changed the case of mine then it went to crap.hope i helped you a little.

Thanks for the help. I really like the sound of this V551, but unfortunately I haven't found it on many sites for sale. Does anyone know when some online stores will get it, and for what price? I like Amazon's prices and rebates, but they don't have it yet.

ur 14, you should consider original n-gage, tons of great games and MP3 for ya! it is also cheap now a days!

if m 14, i will get n-gage... matter of fact, i should even if m not 14
