Wierd issue with 7100t

The company that I work for has 3 7100t units for eval.
Our environment includes a BES server, Blackberry 7200's (AT&T and TMobile), Blackberry 6700's, Blackberry 6200's, Blackberry 5800's, and two CDMA based Blackberries.
The 7100t's will receive messages in "bursts", every 20 minutes, like clockwork. All the other BB's will receive messages as they come in. This eliminates the BES server.
The 7100t's are at firmware code .112. The release notes for .128 don't show this as a fix.
Does anyone else have this "bursting message" issue?
Thanks,
Steve

It's a known bug called "clumping". The same bug was in early versions of the 7230 code. A BlackBerry with a clumping problem stops receiving mail and won't receive unless you send a message or reset the antenna.
It's not fixed in .128 but it's addressed in the next code release - I'm not releasing the 7100t to my company until it's fixed.

Thanks. I did upgrade two of them to .128, and so far, it's eliminated it. I'm glad to know it's a code issue...that's fixable.
Any idea as to when the next release will come out?

I haven't heard - probably this week at the BlackBerry user group they'll mention it. I know it's a big sticking point for people so I'd imagine a patch will be out soon.
.128 came out a little over a month from initial release of the unit so they've been pretty responsive.
