Just like the subject says. What is the difference between teh GX30 and TM150?

I have looked over the stats on each phone, and the appear to be the same?

They are similar, but the GX30 is quad band, and has an MP3 player, Bluetooth (sort of), flash, IR.

one is ugly (TM150) the other isn't (GX30)

Just my opinion.

A couple more questions.

Does anyone have any more specifics of the phones differences? Like mabey a side by side comparison.

It seems like the Tm150 is just a stripped down version of the GX30.

Is this true?

Those that ahve the GX30 are you happy with it?

Specifically I read that the 1900Mhz performance of the GX30 was lacking.

Anyone have similar results?

Mike also I noticed you have you phone listed as a GX32.

Is that an updated version of the GX30?

If so what fixes were made?

I have both Gx32 and TM150...and I believe that Gx32/30 is alot better than TM140 because TM150 is vey lacking. It does not have mp3 player or flash, software is very slow and above all u can't change the outside wallpaper.

no bluetooth on the tm150 either. As far as the diff between the gx30 and the gx32 is the lack of vodafone branding throughout the phone. Alot of people really don't like the red theme that voda uses

You can change the outside wallpaper. You do it in the settings menu.

Lacking 1900 or not, my 32 has a much better recepting than a lot of other phones out there right now on the GSM network (for vancouver at least).

Personally, you are better off getting the "real" product instead of watered down goods.

PS. TM150 is uglier

I agree

I think the GX-30 is ugly. It's plain boring silver, and if the TM150 is big then the GX-30 is enormous. Besides, I got my Sharp for $100 and the GX-30 is around $500. The only thing that is ugly on the TM150 is the green LEDS.

They are actually exactly the same size. I never got the impression that one is bigger than the other, infact if you look closely they are almost the same phone, very few differences. Except the GX30 has none of the teal coloring that makes it so...

Plus, the GX30 has bluetooth.

1) the size should be nearly identical on both phones
2) I don't dig the ugly two tone color on the 150.... I'd take the boring silver anyday, and so will a lot of other people. Why does sharp have to make the uglier versiong of the phone for the NA market? Instead of the more superior black S710 in SE's case.

I find the GX30 to be a strong rf performer and up until just over an hour ago, Fido was a 1900 MHz-only carrier.

its not as good as my moto e398 or my old 7610 though

if the money is not subject, I go for gx30 in a sec. if there is $400 different, then I choose 150, (sorry, I am cheap)

I am on 1900 GSM, and my gx30 works very well, at least, as good as my e715 or v205.

The reason I like gx30 over tm150 is the color of the phone. tm150 looks like a toy. both are the same size, same screen, and same camera. but gx30 can do mp3 wich is major plus for me. 1GB SD can serve me better than carry my 20GB ipod, when i just need a short drive to get home. in fact, my ipod is in my office all the time, since i got gx30.

Bluetooth, no a big deal for me. I don't use phone when I am driving. But lack of LED flash light make huge different for me. I do take some pic for IT equipments at low light, the led light helps a litte.
