Network switching on 7280?

I have a Cingular 7280BB. When I go to my OPTIONS -> Network the only option is Cingular and I can't change it. Is there any way I can have this go AT&T (as my v400 does) so I get better service? Or am I going to have to wait for a new SIM?

cingular locked that feature. I know it sucks!

It is your SIM card that is preventing you from Selecting the network on your BB. I have the same problem. It would not let me on the Cingular Extended.
