Hi everyone! I'm new here and someone suggested I get help on here! I just bought a Nokia 6670 and I have Cingular as my provider, well I don't know how to set up the internet connection on my new phone since it hasn't been really released yet here in the US so if anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it!

Somebody help me please!

Hi
I would imagine it would be similar to the 6600.
By the way where did you get the 6670 from?
Does it have a regular keypad or does it have Asian symbols?
Is it 'made in Germany?
Would you mind sharing what you paid for it?

I am thinking of getting this phone next month when I go back to Germany. It's about 440.00 Euro without contract over there.
I don't know whether to get the silver or the blue version. Which one do you have?
Thanks.

Hello there! I actually bought the phone from Ebay! I bought it from a seller name X1387. I believe this is the Asian version since the seller sent it from Hong Kong! The total I paid including shipping/insurance was $544.00 US dollars. Pretty pricey but well worth the money! Plus the seller included an extra 256MB RS MMC card and the phone already includes a 64MB! He also gave me an adapter for the charger plug but if you already have a Nokia charger for US.....it works the same so you don't have to use the charger! I totally love the phone! I got it in dark blue since that is the only color the seller has available! The seller has excellent service cuz it only took 2 days for it to arrive by Fedex! My brother has the Nokia 7610 which is the cousin phone to the Nokia 6670 and it too is an awesome phone!

BTW.....can you tell me how to set up the interent connection on my phone????

Hi
I don't know whether you've tried this but I suggest you call your provider and tell them you have a 6600 (for example) and ask them to help you set up the Internet connection.
My provider is T-Mobile and they actually sena message to the phone which sets it all up for you.
You might also try posting this in the North American Provider section under Cingular.
Good Luck

I have tried with Cingular and have suggested to go to my local dealer but since the phone doesn't exist in the US yet....it is hard to do that plus I'm afraid to mess up my phone! But I guess I don't really need it since I can always use the Bluetooth to transfer anything from the net! Thank you again for your help! Are you going to plan on buying a Nokia 6670? If so, please let me know how you like it when you buy one!

Hi
Look in the 'North American Carrier Discussion' 'Cingular' and see whether someone has posted the Internet settings.
If not do a search and if that fails post the question in 'North American Carrier Discussion' 'Cingular' section of this Forum.
I don't think (I don't know) the settings are phone dependant. So you might also look for the settings for a 6600 or 7610. These phones are available here.
I shall almost certainly get the 6670 when I go to Germany in December. I can hardly wait.
Currently I have a Nokia 6100 which is tiny and very light weight. I am worried a little bit about the size of the 6670 but I do like the 'huge' screen.
I will do some research to see if I can find the Cingular Internet settings for you.
