How do I check what version of firmware my GD88 is running.

I tried *#9999# and had no luck. Somehow when i searched the panasonic forum for the keyword firmware i got no results, maybe the search isn't working properly. Any help would be appreciated.

you have to do it right after you power up the phone! as soon as you can get to the main screen....after pin (if you have it). Pushing the red key from the splash screen will get you there....you have about 5 seconds after the phone boots to get the code in.

A38... Any advantage to a 50 series firmware? I don't really have problems as it is so I should probably just leave it.

If there's no problem then don't upgrade.

Actually I don't see any differences when my GD88 was flashed with A55 from A38. Better stick on with your firmware version
