Hello All,
I need the smallest GSM phone possible.
Needed: GSM, WAP, tri-band if possible
Do not need: GPRS, camera, ring tone selection, MP3, etc.
What do you guys think about the Panasonic GD55? The reviews have been conflicting.
Thanks!

I did not have a gd55 but I have a G51 as my backup phone. I love it for occasions where I need exceptional battery life and a small phone. It gets good reception, ringtones are loud, and sound clarity is good. Everything you need in a compact phone.

the GD55 was a great phone, it had excellent reception and battery life.
i used both the G50 and G51 that succeeded it, and they weren't as good.
note: the GD55 is not the smallest GSM phone, not anymore atleast

I guess this is sorta related....I've had my GD55 phone ever since it came out in Europe more than a year ago. But since the instructions are in another language, I was never able to find out how to check my voice mails. Does anyone have a clue?
My plan is Cingular Wireless, if that info is needed. ??
Thanks for your time!

I've already tried both those methods. Holding one just brings me to my phonebook, and dialing my own number just brings me to my own message system. So I end up sending a blank voicemail to myself, which I can't check.

i just bought another G51 tonight, i'll check it out and tell ya how to check voicemail even tho i don't have voicemail.
