Hey im a newb at using phones so i really need some help. I have a SE T630 and a K700 data cable that i borrowed from a friend i really just want to do simples things like upload games, ringtones and wallpaper to the phone but i really dont know how to . All i have is the phone with the cable connector and the cd that came with the cable.

am i missing something? i got this as a used phone and it didnt have the cd software with the phone could this be the problem? Nothing happens when i plug the phone in.

Please can somebody help me???
and if its because of the missing phone software cd where can i get another 1

First of all you need to download the software for the cable if you have it. If not, go to sonyericsson.com under support and search for the cable model and then you can download the software from there. After each install you need to restart your computer or you will have some problems. Once you get that software installed, download the drivers for the phone, restart, and then downlaod the file manager application. That application won't allow you to take off games, but it will allow you to take off ringtones, pictures, and themes. It's a nice program that will also allow you to drag other files like that on to your phone.

Another good source for themes and ringtones is myt610.lasyk.net
You will need WAP configured in order to download stuff to your phone.
