Rebate

This is a bit irritating. I received a letter today stating that my 7100t was not eligible for the upgrade refund. Has anyone else received something like this?

I have to call the upgrade department to find out what happened. I definitely would not have upgraded so soon if the rebate was not available.

I had the same experience. I did get a $100.00 credit on my account. Took about a week and I had to heckle TM several times. I posted this (10-27-04) in an earlier thread on rebates.

"Hope no one has this problem with their rebate but... I sent my rebate form in about a week after receiving the BB. One week after that I received a letter from the rebate operation that my BB was not qualified for a rebate because my IMEI# was an inelegible number.

Just got off the phone with several TM people. The upshot is that I am elegible for the rebate but was sent a phone with an inelegible #. Seems like they had a "stack" of BB's that are elegible and a "stack" that are not and I recieved one of those.

Anyway, I am supposed to get a $100.00 credit on my bill within 48 hours."
