Is there any way to remove the date and time from the main screen view of the SE47 phone? I have BitPim successfully installed - any way to do this through the file system?

I don't think there is a way to do this through the phone's menu itself.

Also, on my screen it says "1X Ready" -- how can I get rid of this annoying message from the screen?

It defeats the purpose to have a wallpaper when it is blocked by the date/time and the "1X Ready" words.

no u can't get rid of the date and time, ther's no way

however, there is a way o get rid of the 1x ready, i don't remember how because it was discussed a long time ago, your best bet is to search the forum, but u must search the archive folders because t was looooong time ago

download the Kyocera PST, youll need a data cable. and you can change it to whatever you want or delete the 1X ready, i changed my to 3G Enabled, just for fun

you don't need to edit a file the PST software does that for you
