Ok I am due for an upgrade from my V300 because I need bluetooth and...stuff. So yeah. I love the T637 from S-E....but the K700 is better in some ways apparently..but its also $100 more (around there)!!! If Im on a budget, is it REALLY worth it to save up for that K700? Im also big on the look of the T637. Let me know what you all think!!

seeing you are going around different countries
then K700i should be your choice, it's 900/1800/1900, and T637 is 850/1800/1900, that you're unable to use 900 in certain (esp. in Asia) cities
and K700i has a lot of memory, and VGA cam ; while T637 can get advantage for roaming around America, and $100 cheaper

I....Im not going to be roaming around other countries...BUT I PLAN TO ONE DAY!!! Yeah its just for East Coast/USA right now. Though within the next year or so I might be living in Melbourne, Australia which I believe is fine with the T637 correct? Could anyone do some Pros and Cons comparing the two phones? Thanks!

Try the K700i. If you have problems with it in the US, keep it for Australia. Or sell it to me at a discount.
You'd still be able to get a T637 with whatever you get for the K700. Just out of curiosity, why not the Z600?
In a lot of markets, you'll be fine with just 1900 available. I guess you could switch to T-Mobile since they use 900/1900 in the US...

I used a T637 in Australia and without the 900mhz band it is very limited. I was able to use an 1800 supplier (i-Sim) in Sydney but not in Brisbane. Most GSM networks in Australia use 900 and only use 1800 as a back up. Go with the K700i...it is a great phone. I wish I had it when I was in OZ and NZ last month as I had to resort to my old SE T68i !

I'm from Australia and we don't have t637s over here - only t630s which probably have that 900mhz band you need.
i got a k700i though

Pleased you got the K700i, Mine is working just perfectly, except I need to send it out for a firmware upgrade as the phone company it was initially set up for--e-plus+, does not allow upgrades directly from the SE website.
There are two SE phones that were made
only for Cingular for the US market. They are the T616 (your T610) and the T637 (your T630)...they are tri-band, but 850, 1800 and 1900. The 850 band is the NEW North American standard, as it allows smaller operators to convert to GSM at a lesser cost.
Trust Cingular though not to advise it's customers that have always had TRUE tri band phones that these SE variations are practically worthless in the real GSM World!!
