These are my own opinions, and please keep in mind that I'm a Siemens freak.

SL55: It's based on the S55 software, which, from my own use of the S57, works fine. The thing with Siemens phones is that the software that comes with the phone isn't even near complete. You get to update your phone with new firmware every couple months or so (whenever Siemens makes improvements)... the S57 is onto FW91 I think, and each time the functions run considerably smoother. If you want the SL55 (which has great looks even though it's an older generation), invest in a data cable and get the updates and you'll be set. The only draw-backs for the SL55 is the small size of the screen (101x80) and lack of integrated camera. The slide function is awesome.

CF62: I don't think it looks cheap, but then again, this is Siemens' lowest flip phone model (CF, CFX, SF). The buttons are a bit plasticky, and the dynamic lights are a horrible shade of orange-yellow, but other than that the phone works pretty well. Yes, loading the games and java takes a while longer, but as I said, this is a low-end phone. If you need more mulitmedia functions, go for the CFX. Again, no integrated camera, but the CSTN screen is 130x130 and a huge improvement over the SL55's. It's much cheaper too. The big plus for this phone is its small size, light weight, and style (I love the integrated loop antenna).

V70: I don't know, my friend got this phone when it first came out, kept it for a month, then threw it into his closet (not even bothering to re-sell it). I have no other impressions of this phone.

C65: I actually think that the C65 is more plasticky than the CF62 (that combination of blue and grey doesn't work for me), but you can't beat it in terms of functions and value. It's a bit more expensive than the CF, but you're talking about a whole different platform -- increased storeage, speed, and functions. The CIF camera isnt' great, but at least it's integrated into the phone. The screen is the same as the CF's.

All in all, you have to decide what is important to you as a customer. Looks? Choose the SL. Functionality? Choose the C. Price? Choose the CF.

But if you want to choose all three, then get the CX65 (but that's a whole different post)!!!

Size: choose the SL

This thing is so amazingly small. And incredibly stylish (hence the looks factor). It's one of the most chique and sexy phones I've owned.
