Can some 1 help me out with this. I couldnt find anything on it. And the manual entering the codes doesnt work. Thanx if you can help.

you cannot unlock dct4 phones with just a data cable...

you need a prodigy box etc to do it...too much money for one phone !!

you don't need a data cable at all. just go to unlock123.com and you can unlock the device for five bones. nokia unlock codes are all logarythmic and the imei determines the unlock code. you need a dc/cc to use the service but it is simple to do. the site provides you with a code that you put into the phone while the power is on but no sim is inserted. the only reason you would need the dat cable is if you plan on flashing the phone and you would do that to remove all the at and t branding within the phone. keep in mind that after you unlock the phone you will need to put in all new wap, mms, and email access points and settings for the provider you are going to use the newly unlocked phone with.

ps....this service will only work with a nokia device
