High Pitched Tone Coming From Ear Piece

Has anyone heard of this problem? I hope it's just mine. I went by the store today to try another one out with my SIM, but he had just run out... should have another one tomorrow, I can try... the tone is so high in pitch, it's pain full... he could not even hear it ... hmm... well, we'll see what another unit shows...

Are you talking about the constant high pitch hum that comes out of the speaker any time you have it enabled? (Soft or Higher?) That's in the neighborhood of 12-15khz and a lot of people won't be able to hear it. Especially the kids who have 100+ DB SPL stereo systems in their cars and have completely destroyed their hearing.... anyway I have that problem on mine.. I might be exchanging it today and I will see if that goes away. I can hear it on mine, though it is not excruciatingly loud enough for me to complain about it. It seems that people that do not have sensitive hearing have no concept of what a really loud high pitch sound is like to those that can...

Yes! Thats it! My guess would be 12k .... a friend of mine can hear it, the guy at the cell store can not, I have been waiting the last couple of days for him to get some more in... I hear high pitched sounds all the time... like HD whine, which I head right night, because I sit between two towers, holding a few HD's each (quiet models though) ... so that is not too bad, but the higher pitch that comes out of this phone i s at a freq that gives me a headache, fast! Well, let us know what happens with your replacement, and I will do the same...
