I just imported everyone in my contact list from my V80 to a 6260 and my contacts show last name first. Is there any way to change the way it displays the names to first name first?

I was hearing there was a program called SWAP...but cant seem to find it...

a easy fix is to put the first and last name in the first name field. This will show the first names in order....this is how im setup right now.

Sadly, all NameSwap does is automate the process of interchanging Last Name with First Name. While that's all well and good on the phone, it really makes things screwy (for me anyway) when I sync to my computer and iPod as now everything there is backwards!

Oh how I wish there were a simple S60 hack to actually just reverse the name order!

Yepp...couldnt agree more. It screws up syncing my Outlook too. I just reversed them back to normal and now stuckwith it like this. Oh well.....

I find I'm having to set more thumbnails for contacts and distinctive rings (either individually or in groups) because Called ID only displays so much of a person's name before it cuts off. With Last Name First Name, that becomes a problem when you have 5 Smiths, or 8 Nguyens who might call you. Rings and pictures help clear it up a bit (though I'm the only one able to tell who the heck is calling) Ah well.... I'm getting used to it. So long as my computer and phone stay perfectly in sync, I'll be content.

Not a big deal, if you know the first name, but can't remember the last for example just key in the first few letters and the phone will filter contacts that match the keyed in letters. Perhaps it's a little annoying but not a real big deal IMHO.

True the search function in Contacts is quite cool. It saves you the need to scroll down all the time.
