Sharp Gx10 codes

Hey everyone, i've had a Sharp Gx10 for over a year noe but I havn't been able to use it as it is locked to the Vodafone network. I have some questions: i've heard that the phone can only be unlocked through software and a data cable however i've also heard that two codes can do the job.Can both do the job. Also if anyone has usen any of these codes to unlock their phone can you please list them for me.
