http://members.lycos.co.uk/tylers89 - Rap MP3 Ringtones (yes this is my site and I did the ringtones)

http://www.zedge.no/ - Probally my favorite, has awsome wallpapers and lets you upload whatever you want so you can download it on your phone!

http://3gforfree.com - Not the best but it has tons of poly ringtones for all you guys without mp3 support on your phones.. also has some games and wallpapers

Spiderman deserves an award for posting such valuable information that I am sure nobody here knew!
(sorry, I couldn't resist)

Here are mine:

MapQuest - Get driving directions. I know it works on T-Mobile and Cingular but it will probably work with any other carrier.
http://wireless.mapquest.com/vs/

Multilingual Translation Dictionary
http://wap.langtolang.com

Accuweather with color graphics!
http://pda.accuweather.com

Access airport status information, including flight delays, etc.
http://www.faa.gov/wireless

By the way, if you are interested in knowing the name of that song you just heard on the radio, try mobile.yes.com from your wireless phone. This service was restricted only for AT&T Wireless mMode users. However, it was opened for everyone a few months ago. It works great on Sprint PCS and on Cingular.

I think their new and easy address is www.crazywap.co.uk

for computer and phone.

Posted by: ScruffyGuy

How about:

www.google.com/glm

(google local), look up locations with name and zip code or state. Very good application and its free.

Posted by: digitalslurp

I wouldn't really call that a WAP site since its actually an application.

Posted by: ScruffyGuy

It is a "wap" site. The only difference from most wap sites is that it only contains one application, nonetheless it is a wap site and therefore it fits here.

(Wireless Application Protocol) A standard for providing cellular phones, pagers and other handheld devices with secure access to e-mail, text-based Web pages and other applications. Introduced in 1997 by Phone.com (later Openwave Systems), Ericsson, Motorola and Nokia, WAP provides a complete environment for wireless applications that includes a wireless counterpart of TCP/IP and a framework for telephony integration such as call control and phone book access.

Not true. The www. is simply part of it's host name, it does not denote what type of content the server at that address will be hosting. As long as the document at www.site.com hosts WAP content, the phone will know.

I cant get the picture of the radar to display properly using the wap address for the NOAA on my Nokia 6682 using the Nokia/Cingular web browser. Its displays as a tiny unreadable little squrare. If I use the port address it works fine.

If I use Opera Mini with the wap site the radar images display fine.

Anyone else experience this?

So aggrevating to not be able to find loads of sites for WAP. I use Google's WAP Search, but it delivers broken results, and not all WAP related. I am sure that as more of the world start using WAP, this will end my frustration. Anyone remember the world of Netscape 3?

My own contribution: http://diggriver.com/ .

you could use this site as an easy bookmarker for all of the above sites so that users can easily reach the site without much typing. Go to wam.tw for details.

This site (wam.tw) will only take 6 taps to enter.

It is also a growing wap site of interesting j2me albums.
