History -

Using Palm OS devices, I used IR to connect to a Nokia cell as a modem when on the road.

Now -

Using Palm OS device (an i705 with a bluetooth card AND IR). I can connect to an SE t637, and dial, but get disconnected immediately.

All I want to do is dial into my ISP, check some email (as I did in the past). I am getting frustrated with the lack of information available on the t637.

Can anyone make a helpful suggestion?

I am having the same problem with an AXIM X30. If you get a lead on this, please let me know also. Someone who has another T600 series phone may have the answer--Sony Ericsson could not tell me, only that I would have to download drivers for a PC.

I solved my problem. It appears my data plan through Cingular was set for data access ONLY from the cell phone, not THROUGH the cell phone. Made a few changes over the phone with a tech, dropped some services (saved $$) added some services (spent $$) and now all is wonderful.

Can you be more specific?

Now I see (I think). I called Cingular and they set me up, but the dialup still does not work, this is just a connection through the data. This uses your KB in the wireless, not you phone minutes.

This does not solve the dialup problem.

There apparently is a script or command structure needed.

Still need help...
