8910 pictures are distorted

I just got a Flasher V7 (Audiovox 8910), and it's my first camera phone. I guess I wasn't completely sure what kind of image quality to expect from the pictures, but I was disappointed to see very noticeable distortion in some of my pictures. I've tried to attach a cropped (for privacy reasons) picture that shows how the roof line of a house is warped like a fun-house mirror on the left side of the picture. Is this a typical level of distortion with a low-end camera phone, or should I try to exchange my phone for another one?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer!

Looks alright, but be sure to let the camera focus. Don't take the picture before waiting a few seconds. And also tweak to options for better quality, adjust brightness, and change contrast. Make sure you're using 640X480 as well.

Ok, thanks for the response!

I wish companies would include real sample pictures with their camera phone information so folks could have a better idea of what they were going to get for their money.

Aside from that, the phone seems to be a huge improvement in signal/call performance over my Vox 8500. I just can't believe that Virgin took out the keypad lock on the phone. I can still secure the phone ok, but it means inputting my passcode for just about everything instead of just once to unlock the keypad.

Oh yeah, that was pretty stupid of them, and even still I don't think you can block access to texts and stuff. The 8610 had a lock.
