ok, i recently got this as a gift

but it didnt come with anything but just the cable

does anyboyd know where i can get programs for it? i need something that can read/type word documents thats basically all im looking for

i think i need a palm sync program as well, where can i get that?
sorry i am a complete noob since its my first palm and it didnt come with anything lol~

i googled, but all i see is a bunch of reviews, i think its cuz the palm is too old... haha

You'll need to download the "Palm Desktop" which should include "Hot Sync Manager." That allows you to sync the Palm with a computer. It should be available from www.palmone.com

Ny favorite Word/Excel reader/writer is "Documents To Go" www.dataviz.com

For other applications check www.palmgear.com

i got my palm to sync finally... haha

any more links to programs and stuff?
m500 is b/w screen so im guessing most of the programs out there dont work

Nah that's not true. Most programs work with either color or b&w.
