L1400 - MMS - "Picture Size Is Too Large" Error

On my LG L1400, when I try to send a picture via MMS that was taken at the size of 640x480, I get the error message that the "Picture size is too large".

Other than using cables (that I don't have) and the infrared capability (which I also don't have on my PC), how am I supposed to get these pictures off of my phone?

contact your provider, cause (if you haven't read the forums here) there's no way to get the pics off your phone besides mms...

The previous poster is mistaken-- You can get *most* photos off via serial and IR.

The error message you're seeing, "Picture size is too large", appears for images over 64KB. Unfortunately, the phone won't send such photos via serial cable either. (It sends a little bit of screwed up JPEG header info and then stops) So if you take a photo that compresses to more than 64K, you might as well delete it then and there, because you're going to end up deleting it to make room eventually. There's no way to get these pictures off

I can verify that this bug appears in firmware v1.0.1. Has anyone seen it in v1.1.1 or the newer L1400i firmware?
