helo evryone,
iv got a big problem , while changing the cover on my P900, i very stupidly , managed to break the earphone connector piece, and now the earphone doesnt work (duhh)...
Basically, ive spoken to a couple of pple, and they sed that the only thing to do is to change the motherboard of the phone.
I was wondering what youz lot thought, and how much it would cost for a new motherboard for a P900 and where i could get one, or if there is any other way of sorting it...

I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone could give, thanks loads!!!

I don't thinked you need to change the mother board, is this piece the one you plug the headset in or something else?

erm no, its not that bit, i think thats easily changeable. Its the actual built in speaker for voice calls, not the loud speaker on the front of the phone, the one u put to ur ear while on the phone, its soldered to the motherboard and has broken off, thats y i think i need a new motherboard...

any idea's?

I have taken my p900 apart, I don't think the ear speaker is attached to mother board(the loud speaker is actually the one in the back. It must be something else that's broken. Here's a picture of the phone taken apart done by sdsviet. http://www.pbase.com/image/28246812.jpg

Here's the front speakr(the one you put your ear to) as you can see it's attached to front of housing and connect by two tabs.

The only thing actually attached to motherboard itself is the camera lense.

ur absolutely right, i think i havnt explained right, but its not actually the earphone speaker thats broken, its the 2 pin connector that it connects to. The connectors the bit thats attached to the motherboard. Thats whats broken...

anyways, would you kno where i could get a motherboard. I did try that globalmob.com site but they dont sell the motherboard... i dont kno anywhere else i can get one from...

hope that cleared it up...
PLEASE SUMBODY SAVE ME, lol, i really cant live without dis fone, its a part of my being now...!!!
