I was just wondering about the treo600 echoing?
I had one and replaced it with an other one becuse off echo on the receiver end.
The new one does not echo when i talk to people on telus/bell or landline. But sometimes it does on gsm.
I did software upgrade and seems a bit better.
Anyone else have come across this.
If you have a Treo600 pm me and I would like to hear how it sounds in my Nokia for compairising.
When i call my friends on a landline they say its fantastic. Only from GSM to GSM its liitle echoee on the receiver end. I dont here it but the receiver hears them self echoing..

Well it does not echo any more. Only on weak signals it echo's on gsm. Now replaced the unit and no more echo's. Handspring told me that the hardware is defective when it echo's all the time.

I think many of them (including mine) echo on speakerphone mode.

I got a replacement unit brand new from treo600. Its perfect now.
It was the earlier models that had a problem with the speakers and they have it solved. I also got the 650 and its same good audio quality.
