ANY way to reset locked MPX220 WITHOUT pulling battery?

Like the subject says...is there any way to turn off/reset an MPX220 without pulling the battery? My battery door is missing a few of the tiny little tabs that hold it on (what an insanely delicate piece! and, moto says they aren't available for purchase), and I have double sided tape btwn my battery and the door to hold it in place. So...when my phone locks up (fairly frequently, when you're "playing" around with stuff), I have to un-do and re-do the tape.
Where's the Ctrl-Alt-Del keys?!
I don't think there is, but figured I'd ask.
Take care all---

Not that I am aware of. I say take it to Cingular and have them replace the door under warranty. Its defective and has to be replaced.

Not sure that'd fly; I'm doing an XBM on the phone, and mentioned the battery door, and was told I need to send back the new one, or I'll be charged the same as sending back a damaged phone...
Thing is, I wouldn't mind buying a couple of them (if they aren't $50 each or something crazy like that), but you can't even buy 'em.
Thanks---
