Unlocking R750+ From SouthernLinc to Nextel

I recently purchased a Motorola R750+ phone in great condition. The issue is it was used on SouthernLinc and they don't provide service in my part of the country. How can I unlock this phone to work with Nextel? Any suggestions?

The only thing that my be a problem is you need a data cable for it.

I tried sometime ago to have this phone converted from SouthernLinc to Nextel with no success. I finally found a Nextel model which I could get activated. From what I understand, Nextel made the R750 for Nextel, SouthernLinc, and a few other companies and they could not be changed over without major firmware factory upgrades.

when it is unlocked it is done with the cp not the firmware man so just pm the guy^^ uptop or me and we will try our best ok

Sorry... but I thought the purpose of this thread was with assistance converting a SouthernLinc r750+ to Nextel. My point is simply that it cannot be done without firmware modifications .

and u had someone hack ur cp? and u tried the nextel firmware upgrade?
