Jabra BT200 + N-Gage not playing nice...

Hey folks,

Need a little help here... I just moved to Series 60 with an N-Gage QD (a surprisingly nice unit... every day I'm more and more amazed at what S60 can do) and am having problems getting my QD to work with an old Jabra BT200 (hardware 44A) I used with my T68i.

I can get them to pair fine, but after that they never want to talk to each other. Can't connect to the headset from the phone, and pushing the Call button on the headset doesn't register with the phone. Ideas? Searching the forums didn't turn up anything.

I remember the first batch of jabra 200s weren't compatible with s60 nokias.

Perhaps that's it then. I got this headset the first day it was available here in TO about two years ago. Ah well, I guess I'll just leave it paired to my Mac for voice conferencing, and use the wired headset for now.

why dont u send it to Jabra and request a newer one?

well call them and ask...tell them u cant pair it with your ngage

Good point, wouldn't hurt to try and weasel a new BT headset out of them.

exactly..they worst thing that can happen is a NO

(then u talk to their supervisors and get them in trouble
