Can someone send me a link to where I can get the USB Driver for my USB Cable. It is for the SE44. I got the cd with the cable, but my pc will not recognize the cd at all...help? Trying to use Bitpim....

Have you tried reading the CD on another computer?

yes, I have tried it on my Dell computer at work ans well as my pc at home. Just does not do anything.

I'm not sure where you purchased the cable, but I would contact them for a replacement disk. In my case, the mini CD included with the cable is not labeled with a brand name. But, I am able to open the file directory to see various drivers. It contains the following directions:

Insert the Driver CD in the CD-ROM drive.
Plug the USB cable to the USB Port of the PC.
PC will automatically detect cable and install driver.

WINME WIN2K WINXP
Select "Install the software sutomatically"

WIN98
Select "Search for the best driver in these locations"
Browse Driver CD "win98 me 2k xp"Folder

Unfortunately, the only identification of a company is when I run properties on the files. It appears to be the Prolific Technology Company. The cable is made in China.

I got the data cable and cd on ebay... so I guess I am S O L . It came with the little mini cd like you said. Just my CD drive is not recognizing there is anything in there at all.

I was just hopeing I could get the driver somewhere else. I will try to search the net for a site...

i have posted this to my wap site...
it's about 1.5mbs and its the entire contents of the CD that came with my usb data cable. just run setup.exe and you're set.
