P900 Battery low Indicator when battery 90%

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone else has had an issue with the battery low idicator displaying ocassionaly when the battery has more than enough juice in it. The battery meter shows more than 3/4 full but the battery low indicator comes on and the signal light starts flashing red.

I have tried a brand new battery but no difference. I also remember the same thing happened to my P800, so I'm thinking it may be the home charger I am using (I bought an extra one to keep in my room but it is an original chrager and used it on both my P800 and now my P900) and now getting the same battery low message when the battery is more than 3/4 full.

Just wanted to know if anyone else had a similar problem?

BTW doesn't happen all the time.

i've same problem, it shows when my battery life around 40-50%. i remember last time the battery low indicator only appear when battery life lower than 20% or less.

Sounds like your unit is severely draining your battery. Or your home charger may be improperly charging your unit. Last possibility, you have a defective outlet effecting your charger.

I dont know what it is exactly, but those are some possible ideas. Good luck!

i heard that charge thru sync station will hav the above matter occured. anyone can confirm??

There is no way to charge thru the sync station.

Hey Guys thanks for all the responses. I actually had the phone flashed and since then I only use the sync station (desk top charger) to charge the phone as opposed to using my spare charger which I plugged directly into the phone. It's been a week and no "Low battery" message....wooohooo.

I smashed my p900 because it "stopped" charging. Had it on the charger all night and the first call I made in the morning it said low battery and then when out. ×××× morning moods...

Anyway wasn't a charger problem because I bought a t610 the next day and use the same charger and have no problems now...
