Its november 29th and the a11 still is not out, I was hoping to make it my next phone but innousa.net still hasn't released it or updated their site. I hope we don't have to wait too long for it to come.

you know - i actually emailed innousa.net last week looking for some answers - usually they are very prompt with responses - not this time...still nothing...

Posted by: drunkenlee

which one is the A11 again?

peace

Posted by: braindead5400

that would be their new 1.3 megapixel camera phone that resembles the e715

well - i received my very detailed response from inno today - here it is in its entirety:

"We are working on final testing to get it out in time for Christmas – so hopefully, everything will work out.

Inno USA Customer Support

support@innousa.net"

so maybe we will see it soon after all...

If they are still working on the phone itself, could that mean it hasn't gotten FCC approval yet? I wonder how long that process would take if they still have to go through it

I think it could look like this!

yep - thats it - there was another thread floating around with pictures of the silver version but - i guess it was deleted or something - i searched for it but didnt come up with anything...

anyway - good find

EDIT - check this out too - it appears to show the release of a few new inno models - one of them even looks like a variation of the inno 90 in red (marked inno 77) - pretty interesting - in addition, theres a variation of the inno 75 (marked inno 600)

also note the fiberoptics along the whole flip of the a11 (i3000 apparently) - i think that looks really neat - seeing as im in the market for another flip phone - this will definitely do!

sogi link

looks like theyre rolling out three new handsets...

EDIT - again - i also noticed that it appears as though the a11 is hooked up to two speakers - is this thing supposed to be stereo? if so - just another reason to hop back on the innostream train...

the a11 looks like its gonna be a very nice phone, I can't wait to get one. I wonder if we will see the 600 though because the 75 was cancelled for america so I'm assuming they are simply releasing it elsewhere.

its going to be just like the A10 that just came out in europe check this out!

i just wonder on what frequency its going to be.....and when is it coming, we are talking 128Megs, MP# player, 1.3 mpx, USB
that is the best i could find, hope it helps your cravings!!

Posted by: braindead5400

its gonna be 850/1900

Posted by: InnoFreak!!

850/1900 is what i need, so its cool, rumor is that their is another one to follow with BlueTooth, the A21!!

alright people - i have had excellent experiences with innostream but now im gonna have to decide - do i go with the a11 or should i jump the gun with the mitsubishi m900?

i know the a11 has a 1.3mp camera as opposed to the m900 1.0 but the m900 has a ccd sensor instead of the cmos...

another thing that i kinda like is the expandable memory of the m900 - i know the inno has 128mb but constantly having to hook it up and use the limited pc sync software was a bit annoying...

on the flip side of the coin - the inno will probably be a couple of hundred bucks cheaper...

anyway - im just looking for some intelligent insight - what do you all think?

EDIT - actually - i just read on the mitsu site - there has been a hot debate between whether the mitsu is a 1.0 or a 2.0 mp camera - according to the site - its 1.0 in video - 2.0 in photo...

"**** Camera of 1MP effective recording photo in 2MP. Fuji Super CCD technology"

ugh - has anyone ever used a mitsu phone before?

Posted by: Kricket

nevermind - i just noticed the size of the m900 - 105 x 49 x 24 - a little big for a flip - no?

Posted by: braindead5400

yea, the phone is big, bigger than the GX32 and the nokia 6260 and its a 1.0 mp sensor in the phone. The phone simply records a 2mp picture but I doubt its going to be the quality of a 1mp picture from the phone. I can' t think of what they call it, maybe interpolation or something but its definately only a 1mp sensor. Also, there's no way its 1mp for videos, thats way too big.

The inno pcsync software is supposed to be improved for the a11. Also, if anything goes wrong with the a11, you have the inno service center here in Illinois so you can actually take it to them. (would definately help if the A11's have buggy firmware at first). If you buy the mitsu and something goes wrong then....

You also can't rule out the cmos camera. The samsung d500 has a cmos sensor and its great, it takes better low light shots than the s700i. I also think that the 7610 is a cmos (mobile burn mentioned it in one of their comparisons but they weren't sure).

I personally don't think that the m900 is worth how much it is right now but I will be considering it when the proce comes down, the inno on the other hand I'm buying as soon as it comes out.

I just wne tover the specs again and the m900 is gonna have a bigger screen but neither one of them have bluetooth if you use it. The outer screen on the m900 is bigger as well but that is going to affect battery life.

yeah - it looks like i am gonna hold off for a little while - im just anxious to get a flip phone to use as a back up - i did just get the e315 from tmo as an upgrade - i know it doesnt NEARLY stack up to the a11 or the m900 - but then again - i only paid $35 for it

Posted by: sidneylopsides

It is a Fui sensor in that isn't it? If it is SuperCCD it would produce respectable 2Mp images. They don't "interpolate" it's just the way the sensor outputs the data to work with normal imaging technology.

edit: got mixed up, there is a Mitsubishi with a Fuji sensor

Posted by: braindead5400

no, the phone actually interpolates the image to 2mp, I researched it a little further. The image is described as a 1.3 megapixel image interpolated to 2mp
