bigr5026, well seeing as your from chicago, we got a microcenter. I know they got a decent but still small selection of these BT stuff including USB adapters. Take a look over there. its more on the northside.

www.microcenter.com

some of the stuff isn't online tho. Other then that best buy, circuit city all the other computer stores have them. You can check Fry's but thats in downers grove.

FutureShop is (now) BestBuy. BB bought out FS a couple years ago when they made the decision to move up to Canada. I think that effectively turned the like 5 US FutureShop stores (mostly in nothern central/western states) into BestBuys.

bigr5026, if you must buy a BT adapter locally, try your local Costco/Sam's Club (if you're a member). I was in one in NJ about two weeks ago and saw some there. USB dongles are getting pretty easy to find these days (quite surprisingly). Perhaps BT is finally catching on... It's only been like 5 years.

^ never knew that. but still called best buy

anyways man. dongles are as easy as to find as like Apple Pie. 99% of all computer stores have them. Good amount of stores have them, like costco, sam's club.

I don't think you should spend more then $50 for a doogle.

$30 one

43$

37 kingston

i pulled these up instantly. i didn't research any of them but just to give you the general idea. I see no reason to spend $50+ on it. that last link looks pretty nice from a glance. USB 2.0

USB 2.0 is a little over-kill for Bluetooth don't ya think? 480 MBps for a technology that only pushes 720 KBps (or something like that).

bt adaptors are easy to find and are like all the same..its just that its hard to find it at a bargain (~$20)
