Hey all, what's the latest N-Gage QD North American firmware? My current phone is running v3.05 and seems to have a lot of odd crashes of background system threads. Things like DosServer crashing when I try to sync over BT, or AppSrvServer crashing here and there. I don't ever remember these problems on my v3.04 firmware device.

Mildly annoyed.

there is none for the NA version yet afaik...but for the 900/1800 version it is 4.00~

Booo-urns. I'm supposed to return the v3.04 firmware phone I have (or else I'll have to QDs... not bad, but I'd rather not pay for both!), but my v3.05 instability is driving me batty.

i have not heard of the 3.05 version to be honest...where did u get it?

afaik nokia only has up to 3.04 (but of cuz i can be wrong

I got this from Fido directly (shipped), believe it or not.

I was pretty shocked too when I did the firmware check.

Annoyingly, I deauthorized my computer from the N-Gage's paired devices list, started up sync, and voila, no crash.

Don't know how long it'll last, but a minor victory.

I also noticed last week I can't sync with my ATP 512 MB card inserted; AppSrvServer crashes. Come to think of it, if I try to backup my device mem from the Memory app to my 512 card, the same crash happens there too. Peculiar...

strange...try to master reset your phone and see if it still occurs

I couldn't sync with the 512 MB card inserted on either my v3.04 or v3.05 phones without something crashing in the background. Strange indeed. Maybe I'll blow my phone away later tonight and tinker...
