wondering if this is a good investment. lol

is it worth the 259.99 and EB? and if i can get it refurbished or cheaper anywhere else please tell me. im in GTA. and only EB store that has them is in Yorkdale Mall.. lol ARGH.

if u are using it for mp3..make sure u get the REGULAR ngage (NOT QD)..and rf is great for sure

and $260 for one is not worth it...its suppose to be at around $150 or lower...

If you're getting it for MP3 playing, as angel_wing0 said, you should go for the original. The downside to that is you won't get GSM850 support for roaming on Roger's (which really adds to the coverage availability). But since you're a DJ, shouldn't you have gone iPod long long ago?

The cheapest way to get one is to go on a 2-year with Fido ($100 for the QD). Roger's I think still has a special page on their site about activating an original N-Gage on Roger's.

rogers doesnt have ngage AT ALL...unless its an authorized dealer offering it~
why not just buy it on hofo? around 120~150...without stupid contracts....even beter

They didn't sell them, but they'd give you an activation credit of $100 if you did have one (and a free downloadable game credit). You'd had to have bought from EB or a third-party store. That page has been up since the N-Gage launched (though I had to use Roger's search engine to find it now).

so basically like what i said

so they pay u $100 if u buy an ngage and open service at rogers?

Pretty much. No big deal really; just like any other contract-subsidized phone.

well when u sign a 2 year contract basically then...

gay..but hey, at least its not locked

Fido customers now have access to the Rogers network. Fido has cheaper plans don't they? I think they have cheaper data plans at least. Currently $100 w/a two yr activation for the QD itself through Fido. Fido has a $50 unlimited plan compared to Rogers $100 unlimited plan. This only applies if you intend to play games legally bought on Arena.

The QD isn't ideal for mp3's. Go w/an iPod. Chicks dig them too. :P

both expensive imo..u can access wap in tmo for $5 (t-zones) or $11 usd (for nagge areana), canadian providers can never do that..(plus with the take-over, basically there is no more gsm competitor for rogers )
