If I go into a cingular store and pick up the MPX220 for my friend for her birthday, it well only cost me $399 with no contract??

isn't there any upcharge if you buy the phone by itself only? like at bestbuy, when you buy the phone only its $399 + $150 upcharge.

I bought a MpX220 at the corporate store in Vernon Hills, IL on Wednesday last week for $399 outright...no contract.

They had a few in stock and all had version 1.20 on them...

In my area (Atlanta) the corporate stores have a no commitment price of $449 on the tags. Is it not the same in every market?

Apparently not. I've seen several posts here stating that $399 is the no-commitment price from Cingular. I didn't pay attention to where those people were from.

i just migrated last nite from blue.....does anyone know if the cing mpx220 comes w/ the data cable? the guy was lost..hopefully i'll have it delivered by friday.

It should come with the data cable--all of the ones from Best Buy did and those are Cingular branded.

So some users have been able to buy the MPx220 at Cingular Corp stores? Are these Cing Blue or Cing Orange stores. All stores in the upstate NY area and telesales say nothing yet.
