Major Problem!! Microphone stopped working, Kind of?!?!

Yesterday morning on the way home from work, I started having problems with people hearing me, then finally they couldn't hear anything at all! After I got home I messed around with it and ended up doing a Master Reset. I tried a call, it worked, I thought, well another famous Microsoft glitch

I didn't use it much the rest of the day. (I work nights, I went to sleep.)

I got up this morning and made a call, started out fine, but as I talked the person of the other end said I was getting lower and lower, till nothing!!

I DON'T think its a hardware problem because Voice Recognition still works fine. I can speak in a really low tone and the V/R works fine!!!

I am totally lost.

Also everything works fine with a B/T headset.

Ideas, anyone?

old firmware has this problem... not sure if it was fixed in .346 or not, i haven't experienced it. But it definitely happens on .325

I had the .325 Firmware before getting the new one with 1.30 through XBM.

I never had any problems with the .325 except for the all-around low volume and the pitiful video camera. The new phone was great, all my complaints had been addressed until this cropped up yesterday!

yeah that happened to me on my .342 but after i just rebooted it it worked fine

Same here. It happened to me on .325 yesterday. The mic was essentially dead during a phone call. I rebooted and all was fine. It is almost like it wasn't turning on the mic for the call??

OK, the phone has just been laying on the desk, it hasn't been Master Reset or even rebooted. I just picked it up and made a call to see what would happen. First I called one of my other lines and left a V/M to see if ithe mic worked. I checked the message, everything loud and clear.

I then made a call to a human, had about a 15 minute conversation, everything is still fine.

I don't know what to do, should a XBM and try to get another phone, or is it a bug in the 1.30 too? If it is, another phone isn't gonna do any good.

Opinions?

Could be a bug, could be a bad mic only one way to know get a replacement. If it is a bug they won't admit it, will do another FW update and continue on. I say get a new one.
